A woman named Susan Schrivjer of Fort Myers, Florida is offended, OFFENDED!!!! Because Toys-R-Us is selling Breaking Bad action figures. She’s so mad that she’s started a petition to have Toys-R-Us pull them from the shelves. Apparently Toys-R-Us caved into this fucking cunts cry baby petition.

Two things.

First, at least the woman started a petition to get the company to voluntarily remove the ‘dolls’ from their shelves. Though to be honest, if the petition failed, I have no doubt she would have gone to some politician to have the government force the company to comply. It’s for the children you know.

Second, I find the selective outrage of American’s to be pretty fucking nauseating. Breaking Bad is (was) a television show for adults. Admittedly, I started watching it late and I really like it. I don’t have time for much television and it’s worth my time.

There are a lot of people commenting around the web that BB was glorifying drugs and that lifestyle and if that’s what they took away from watching the show, then their pretty messed up. Glorification of drugs is definitely not what the show is about.

For the most part, the woman who started the petition and the people who signed it seem to be upset that a toy store would market these action figures to children. I’m going to touch on this before going back to that ‘selective outrage’ thing.

How old does the child have to be before they understand what BB is? If you’re walking through Toys-R-Us and your kid points to the Heisenberg figure and demands you buy it, do they really know who that character is or do you suppose it looks like something they might want to play with?

Does anybody honestly believe that Toys-R-Us is marketing drugs and drug use to kids? Who the hell would think that? I have an idea. If your kid demands you buy them one of these action figures, maybe you as a parent should say… no. You wouldn’t let your kid watch BB so why would you buy them a BB action figure? Does anybody remember the good ol’ days when parents acted like fucking parents and didn’t try to be their kids friend?

Now about that selective outrage. Here’s a sampling from Toys-R-Us’ website.

GI Joe which is little more than a glorification of warfare.

Call of Duty, again a glorification of war. Not only do they have video games, they have a what looks like Legos too.

Pirates of the Caribbean. Everybody thinks of Disneyland and the movies. In realty, pirates were murderers, rapists, thieves, and all around degenerates.

SWAT. The type of people who are signing the petition against the BB toys are the same type of people who boot lick SWAT and cops in general. Cops in the US are little more than murderers for the state. They can beat, taze, shoot you, your family, your pets, destroy private property and they will almost never be reprimanded for it.

Okay, you get the idea. If you don’t want your kids to have a toy, do like Nancy Regan and just say no.
